This Second Annual TechExpo19 is a celebration of the D51 teachers and our amazing students using various forms of technology within the District. It is an event open to all teachers, parents, families, community members, and businesses to display how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math are methods to provide a positive influence on a student’s future.
Attendees will be amazed at the expertise exhibited by students from all grade levels. This event will allow students and teachers to share ideas and successes from their campus, while also demonstrating the role technology plays in classroom learning
SECOND ANNUAL
The event is free and open to the public.
As it was last year – TechExpo19 will be a perfect forum for students and teachers to show off the exciting ways they are utilizing technology in instruction, and hopefully inspire other students and District teachers to take fresh ideas back to their campuses. Students and participating teachers will take the lead in showcasing their projects through direct interaction with EXPO attendees.
Tables/Booths will be set up in the exhibition hall, and visitors will watch technology demonstrations and talk to students and teachers in an interactive and informal setting.
Ask students that participated last year – There are GREAT prizes awarded via drawing at the Expo. There will also be drawings for door prizes for students and staff.
For D51 Teachers:
Please plan to attend and participate in the valuable breakout training sessions/tracks offered at the Expo.
